Privacy Policy
Last updated: 17 July 2026
In short: we only collect the details you choose to give us (like your name, email and phone number), we use them to provide our free university guidance service, we never sell your data, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
1. Who we are

- Company: The Study Access Network Ltd, registered in England & Wales, company number 16335582
- Registered office: Unit 82a James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Bury St. Edmunds, England, IP28 7DE (statutory registered address only — our team operates from London)

We are the "data controller" of the personal data described in this policy.
2. What we collect
- Enquiry details — when you submit our enquiry form you may provide your full name, email address, phone number, your status in the UK, and anything you choose to tell us in the message box. The form is provided by Tally (see section 5).
- Messages — if you contact us on WhatsApp or by email, we receive the contact details and message content you send.
- Technical data — our hosting provider records standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and performance. We do not set our own tracking cookies.
3. Why we use your data
- To respond to your enquiry and arrange your free consultation.
- To match you with suitable universities and courses, and — only when you ask us to — to progress an application with a partner university.
- To help you understand student finance options you may be eligible for.
- To keep our website secure and improve how it works.
Our lawful bases under UK GDPR are: taking steps at your request before entering into an arrangement (Article 6(1)(b)), our legitimate interests in running and promoting our service (Article 6(1)(f)), and your consent where we ask for it (Article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
4. Who we share it with
- Partner universities — only when you ask us to progress an application on your behalf, we share the details needed for that application.
- Service providers — companies that help us run the service (listed in section 5), acting under their own security obligations.
We never sell your personal data, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing.
5. Services we use
- Tally (form provider) — processes the details you enter in our enquiry form.
- Netlify (website hosting) — serves this website and records standard server logs.
- Google Fonts — loads the fonts on this site; your browser sends a standard request (including your IP address) to Google when the page loads.
- WhatsApp (Meta) — if you choose to message us on WhatsApp, your messages are handled under WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they rely on recognised safeguards such as the UK's data-bridge arrangements or standard contractual clauses.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your details for as long as we're actively helping you, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you return to us or we need records of what was done. If you ask us to delete your data, we will — unless we're legally required to keep something.
7. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:
- show you the data we hold about you (access);
- correct it (rectification) or delete it (erasure);
- limit how we use it (restriction), or object to our use of it;
- give it to you in a portable format (portability).
To use any of these rights, email [email protected]. We'll respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we'll update it here and revise the date at the top. Significant changes will be flagged on the site.
